Election in February at the HCC Tournament

As always, the annual election and a general meeting will be held at the HCC Tournament in February. See the Calendar for details.

This year, the following Board seats are due for election:
III. Hampden county - elected in even years (David Hall, incumbent)
IV. Hampshire county- elected in even years
V. Worcester county - elected in even years

And although not due for election, the following seats are vacant:
At-Large
Berkshire county

The election is at the February HCC tournament (see upcoming events to the right), but you don't have to be present to run. You can self-nominate. A nomination must be accepted (verbal is OK) by the nominee. Self-nomination, obviously, assumes "acceptance." Terms are two years. Meetings are done via online chat. One or two meetings per year out of 6 are done in person. It's a light workload. The real heavy lifting is done by the tournament directors, the treasurer, and the clerk.
